Code 34-8-1, et seq., BIDDERS' Alabama General Contractor License Number shall appear on the outside of the envelope containing such bid prior to opening. A. The Work included in this Contract generally consists of installation of 12” PVC, C900 watermain, steel encased bores, and relevant appurtenances and connections in ALDOT ROW. The requirements of this Section and Division 1 apply to all of the Contract Documents. a. Description: Shall include all costs that are associated with installation of the water main, including excavation, bedding, backfill, installation of detection ball markers and warning tape, and surface restoration in unimproved areas of the water main in accordance with the latest version of Standard Specifications of the Montgomery Water Works and Sanitary Sewer Board of the City of Montgomery if applicable. b. Unit of Measurement: Linear Feet (LF) as measured along the centerline of pipe installed and tested and shall include the lengths of fittings and valves in the line. A general description of the work to be done is contained in the Invitation to Bid. The scope of the Project is specified in applicable parts of these Contract Documents.
