The work is generally described as follows: Base Bid - Runway Pavement Rehabilitation - Asphalt Pavement Mill, HMA Overlay, and Pavement Markings Additive Alternate No. 1 - Runway Asphalt Pavement Grooving Goals for minority participation for each trade: 32.00% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% The Contract time is 45 consecutive calendar days for the Base Bid. An additional 15 consecutive calendar days will be added to the Contract time if awarded Additive Alternate No. 1. Liquidated damages in the amount of $500 will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi Board of Public Contractors establishing classification as to the value and type of construction work on which he is authorized to bid. Contractors must be qualified under Mississippi Law and be registered with the State of Mississippi and as a licensed general contractor capable of performing the required work.
