The scope of work is generally described as the construction of 5,910-linear feet of 3-inch water line and 2,400-linear feet of 2-inch water line on C.R.2036(1ST Street), C.R.2039(2ND Street), & C.R.2040(3RD Street). The Contractor shall be responsible for providing and implementing a Traffic Control Plan. The Contractor will field verify all existing utilities prior to excavation. The Contractor shall construct 245-linear feet of 3-inch water line along the West side of 1 ST Street & 450-linear feet of 3-inch water line along the East side of 1ST Street up to 3RD Street. Contractor shall provide the necessary fittings to tie into existing 2-inch water line on 1ST Street and proposed 2-inch water line on 3 RD Street. The Contractor shall perform exploratory excavation at Station 6+40 (L) to verify line size and location coming from Water Treatment Facility. The Contractor shall install a 3-inch water line from Water Treatment Facility to the North side of C.R.2037. Contractor shall furnish and install 3" PVC C900 DR18 or 3" HDPE DR11 (DIPS) by bore under roadway. The contractor shall disinfect and complete all testing before installing new long side and short side services, new meters and plastic meter boxes. All long side services shall be bore. All proposed gate valves shall be installed at designated locations shown on the plans. The Contractor shall construct 5,215-linear feet of 3-inch water line along the north side of 2 ND Street. The Contractor shall perform exploratory excavation at the intersection of 2 ND Street & C.R.2041 to verify water line size and location. Contractor shall furnish and install 3" PVC C900 DR18 or 3" HDPE DR11 (DIPS) by bore under roadway. A 2-inch flush valve with concrete splash pad shall be constructed on the dead-end line. The contractor shall disinfect and complete all testing before installing new long side and short side services, new meters and plastic meter boxes. All long side services shall be bore. All proposed gate valves shall be installed at designated locations shown on the plans. Contractor shall install 2-inch air release valve as designated on plans. The Contractor shall construct 2,400-linear feet of 2-inch water line along the South side of 3 RD Street. A 2-inch flush valve with concrete splash pad shall be constructed on the dead end line. The contractor shall disinfect and complete all testing before installing new long side and short side services, new meters and plastic meter boxes. All long side services shall be bore. All proposed gate valves shall be installed at designated locations shown on the plans. The Contractor shall also be responsible for hauling and disposal of all excavated materials and demolished structures at no additional cost to the Owner
