The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) intends to proceed with a project involving the SR 26 bridge (026-86-01572 A) over Mud Pine Creek in rural portion of Warren County, Indiana. The proposed project will clean and paint the superstructure steel and install Class 1 riprap over geotextile. The existing bridges are 167 feet, steel continuous, The existing bridge is a one-span, 96 foot long, steel truss bridge built in 1933 and rehabilitated in 2000. A fully executed performance bond shall be included with all bids, except on contracts for roadside mowing, vegetation control, demolition, landscaping, fencing, seeding and sodding, bridge painting, and guardrail installations of $100,000 or less, when the bidder may elect not to furnish a performance bond.
