Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Lake Havasu City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids if Lake Havasu City finds it is in the public interest to do so. The scope of work covers all aspects of this project from mobilization/demobilization, traffic control, demolition, disposal, supply of A/B material, asphalt concrete and concrete to the final rolling of asphalt, concrete collars and clean-up. The services for this project shall consist of but are not limited to insurance, supervision, inspections, traffic control plan, traffic control, saw cutting, removal of existing asphalt concrete, concrete collars, concrete curbing, over-excavating of sub-base to a depth of 8” and hauling off and disposal of all existing asphalt concrete, concrete, sub-base soil and debris. The setup, hauling, installation, pouring and finishing of approximately 400’ L.F. of concrete of 6” free standing curb with City supplied concrete. The installation and recompaction in two, 4” lifts of new sub-base A/B material. Grade of the existing edge of roadway elevation must be maintained. City representative will have final approval of all base grading. Contractor will grade and compact A/B material to achieve proper depth of the finished grade. The contractor will lower, re-adjust and install the 16 water valves cans and concrete collars and 1 waste water ring and concrete collar to height of new A/C pavement. Contractor will install one compacted lift of 2” thick asphalt concrete pavement in both London Bridge Beach and Rotary Park with City supplied hot mixed asphalt concrete pavement for both Parks, parking lots and roadways in Lake Havasu City, Taking care to recreate drainage flow lines. All base grading, compaction, concrete curbing and asphalt repair work must be completed in a workmanlike manner in accordance with industry standards and Lake Havasu City Technical Specification Section 02600 – Subgrade Preparation, Section 02200 – Earthwork, Section 02630 – Asphalt Concrete Pavement and Section 03310 - Concrete Curb, Gutter, Sidewalk and Driveways. All excess material and debris will be hauled away and disposed of by the Contractor and will be considered incidental to the project. Any damage to the existing concrete improvements shall be repaired by the Contractor and will be considered incidental to the project.
