Reference Number 0000349150 The City of Taylor is requesting bids for the resurfacing and general maintenance of our municipally-owned and operated outdoor pool as well as opening the pool at the conclusion of the resurfacing. Additionally, we are seeking pricing for the service of opening of the pool both in 2025 and 2026. As-follows: Item 1: Resurfacing/Maintenance/Opening: Vendor must give a quote for resurfacing (marcite) the entire pool. This price must include all required prep work & material. Once the resurfacing (marcite) has been completed the vendor must perform the initial startup-Fill the pool with water, run the filtration system, run the fun features ensuring everything is in working order. Vendor must repair the "Kids Area" drain channel approximately 35 ft. Repair seam weld on skimmer drain north wall. Remove existing caulk around the pool , between the skimmer and concrete, and re-caulk in "Sashco" Gray. Approximately 455 ft. Replace sand in Model TR140c filter, filter area 7.06sq Tank diameter 36" , Sand Filter. Quantity: 4 Filters. Replace or repair any kid's water features missing or damaged base covers Open pool at conclusion of work This is of urgent need, please provide timeline of availability to complete work, if awarded on May 7th. Item 2: Northwest Pool Opening Pricing for 2025 and 2026 Draining and removal of all debris, must be removed from site by company. Awarded vendor must make sure the pool floor drain grate and piping is cleaned from pool to pump. The awarded vendor must provide acid for washing walls and pool floor Vendor is responsible for locating any potential existing damage during the cleaning process and estimating the cost of repair. For the initial openings we are seeking a quote on an "all-in" opening cost, covering all labor and material costs required to begin the season.
