Description: Williamson County is accepting bids for furnishing Class "A" and Class "D" concrete at locations across Williamson County from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. There will be an option to renew for up to 2 additional 1 year terms. The Class "A" and Class "D" concrete shall be delivered to job sites designated by the Williamson County Highway Department. Bid specifications are enclosed. All materials shall meet the "Standard Specifications of the Tennessee Department of Transportation (January 1" 2021 Edition) and Special Provisions pertaining thereto. Williamson County reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to waive technicalities or informalities and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of Williamson County. No bid shall be valid unless signed. No bid shall be accepted by FAX machine. The successful bidder will be required to furnish concrete mix designs for mix to be used by the Williamson County Highway Department. The design shall be approved by The Tennessee Department of Transportation and/or the Engineer. The successful bidder will be required to deliver concrete to the job site within 1 (one) hour of designated time of delivery, based on a 24 hour notice. All estimated quantities are subject to change depending on the availability of County funds. Enclosed is an Ethical Standards Affidavit, Iran Divestment Act Affidavit, Fair Employment Affidavit, Immigration Attestation and Immigration Compliance Affidavit, Certification of Compliance with TCA 12-4-119 and Business Tax and License Affidavit.
