Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Glenview, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Pedestrian Bridge Replacement Award to the successful bidder will be made within sixty (60) days. Contractor is responsible for all measurements and must personally inspect the site to verify the scope of the work to be bid. The Park District has determined that the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this work and therefore Contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and shall pay, and require every Subcontractor to pay, the prevailing rates of wages as established by the Illinois Department of Labor for each craft or type of work needed to execute the contract in accordance with 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. The successful bidder shall also comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings, or enactments of any governmental authority which are applicable to the work or the project. The Board of Park Commissioners of the Glenview Park District, Cook County, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to accept the bids deemed to be in the best interests of the Glenview Park District.
