Renovation of a museum in Ontario, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

Summary of project work includes, but not limited to the restoration and replacement of exterior doors at the first floor of the Ontario Museum of History and Arts. Measuring, disposal, installation, sanding, prepping, and staining is to be expected. This project will encompass multiple trades to include doors and door hardware, carpentry, and paint/staining. The contractor will furnish and supply all materials, tools, time, equipment, and labor to complete the Museum Exterior Doors. All work necessary to complete scope in a workmanlike manner in addition to any permits is the responsibility of contractor. Bidder may begin bid process at any time prior to the bid deadline. Information entered is viewable only to bidder and may be saved, changed, or withdrawn up until the deadline. Upon selection and notification of award, contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each for 100% of the total bid amount. Project Duration 120 Calendar Days from the Commencement Date Stated in the Notice to Proceed Liquidated Damages $250 per Calendar Day License Requirements B License, D-28 Type of Award Lump Sum No substitutions will be considered unless written request for approval has been received by the City by May 6, 2024, by 11:00 A.M. Such requests shall include the name of the material or equipment for proposed substitution including drawings, performance and test data, and other information necessary for an evaluation. A statement setting forth changes in other materials, equipment or other portions of the work including changes in the work prompted by the substitution shall be included. The burden of proof of the merit of the proposed substitution is upon the proposer. The City's decision of approval or disapproval of a proposed substitution shall be final.
