That the County of Grand Forks, North Dakota (Owner) is Requesting Bids for the Construction of the Following Project: Scbd Ramp 2024 Rehab. The Project Includes but is Not Limited to the Following Work: * Traffic Control and Site Access to Protect the Work Areas Within the Existing Precast Concrete Parking Ramp Structure. * Comprehensive Concrete Rehabilitation Including Full and Partial Depth Repairs, Repair of Tee Flanges, Placement of Traffic Coatings and Sealers, Repair of Cast in Place Concrete Washes and Curbs, Pavement Marking Painting, And Repair of Precast Concrete Tee, Column, and Wall Components, and Other Repair of Other Components Typically Encountered in Precast Concrete Parking Structures. * Extensive Replacement of Precast Deck Flange Shear Connectors; Limited and Targeted Expansion Joint Repairs, Precast Bearing Pad Replacement, and Bearing Wall Panels Repairs. * Removal and Replacement of Horizontal and Vertical Joint Sealants, Crack Sealants, Cove Sealants, and Crack Injection Repairs. * Field Preparation and Painting of Existing Metal Fabrications, and Fabrication and Finishing of New Pipe Protection Bollards. * Removal and Replacement of Exposed Electrical Conduit and Electrical Conductors, and Replacement of Paring Ramp Light Fixtures. * Removal of Cast Iron Rain Leader Drain Pipe and Fire Standpipe Fittings and Pipe Sections With Galvanized Steel Piping Joined With Flexible Joint Couplings. * Domestic Preference for Procurement of Products in Accordance With 2 Cfr 200.322 as Described in Specification 01 6000. Owner Anticipates That the Project's Total Bid Price Will Be Approximately $2,300,000. All Bids Are to Be Submitted on the Basis of Cash Payment for the Work, on a Bid Form Furnished by the Engineer in a Securely Sealed Bidding Envelope Prepared as Outlined in the Instruction to Bidders Contained Within the Project Manual. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Separate Envelope Containing a Bidder's Bond, Payable to Grand Forks County, in a Sum Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Full Amount of the Bid, Executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety Company Authorized to Do Business in the State of North Dakota, Conditioned That if the Principal's Bid Be Accepted and the Contract Awarded Within Ten (10) Days After Notice of Award, Will Execute and Effect a Contract in Accordance With the Terms Of His Bid and a Contractor's Bond as Required by the Laws of the State of North Dakota and the Regulations and Determinations of Grand Forks County, North Dakota. Each Bid Shall Contain a Copy of the License or Certificate of Renewal Thereof Issued by the Secretary of State Enclosed in the Required Bid Bond Envelope. All Bidders Must Be Licensed for the Highest Amount of Their Bid, as Provided by Section 43-07-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. Cost of Preparation of Bids Shall Be Borne by the Bidder. Contracts Shall Be Awarded on the Basis of the Lowest and Best Bid Submitted by A Responsible and Responsive Bidder Deemed Most Favorable to the County's Interest Using Criteria Defined in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bid Will Be Read or Considered Which Does Not Fully Comply With the Bid Preparation Requirements. Any Deficient Bid Submitted Will Be Returned to the Bidder Unopened. Grand Forks County Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any Informality in Any Bid, and to Hold All Bids for a Period Not to Exceed Sixty (60) Days From the Date of Opening Bids. All Work Shall Be Done According to the Bidding Documents. The Work Commence and Shall Be Substantially in Accordance With the Contractors Bid but Ready for Final Payment No Later Than October 04, 2024.
