Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlington, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of 550 square yards of asphaltic base patching, 1,120 square yards of asphaltic surface removal (Cold Milling), 820 tons of aggregate shouldering, 6800 square yards of reflective crack control fabric, 2,615 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement, and other miscellaneous items of work. This is a Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) Allocation Project. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certifiedcheck, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Town of Lyons for five percent (5%) ofthe total amount of the Bid asprovided in the Bidder Instructions. Rejection of Bids The TownBoard of Supervisors reservesthe right to reject any or all Bidsand to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected forgood cause, award of contractshall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
