As of May 15, 2024, this project has bid and general contractor has been awarded. Construction is expected to starting June 3, 2024 and end by December 12, 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit payable to the City of Findlay, Ohio, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract. Prospective bidders may address inquiries to Lee P. Rausch, PE through the Bid Express website. All inquiries must be submitted no later than 11:00 am on April 25, 2024. Specifications - This project shall be built in accordance with the specifications provided herein, the current American Water Works Association (AWWA) specifications, the 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications, and the City of Findlay Standard Details. Should any local requirements contradict the published AWWA or ODOT standards, the local requirements shall prevail. ODOT Standard Construction Drawings shall be considered a part of the specification. Also inclusive are the current Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requirements, the current Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA), and the current American National Standards Institute (ANSI) specifications. It is the Contractor's responsibility to secure copies of the applicable specifications. Scheduling/Completion - Final completion for this project shall mean that all portions of the project must be completed by Dec. 12, 2024. Final Completion shall mean the completion of all work related to the contract. Punchlist items will be submitted to the Contractor immediately following the Contractor acknowledging Final Completion. The Punchlist items shall be completed within 10 working days of the notice from the City of Fin Free registration with Bid Express will allow a bidder to review and print all project plans. A digital ID along with a per bid fee or monthly subscription will be required for bidders to submit an electronic bid. The City reserves the right reject any and all bids; and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all optional bids offered; and reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the bids received. The project is located within the City of Findlay corporation limits and is thereby eligible for City Income Tax collection. This project consists of the widening of Township Road 230 between and County Road 212 and Township Road 99 as well as a sanitary sewer along TR 99 from Howard Run Ditch to TR 230. The project widening is from 2-lanes to 3-lanes with the addition of a fourth lane at CR 212. The project also includes installing storm sewer and concrete curb & gutter the length of the TR 230 project. Included in the storm sewer improvement, but not limited to, is 1,042 LF of 24-inch storm sewer, 10 LF of 18-inch storm sewer, 367 LF of 15-inch storm sewer, 665 LF of 12-inch storm sewer, storm manhole installations, and catch basins. The sanitary sewer improvement is 3,605 LF of 18-inch sanitary sewer, sanitary manhole, and asphalt pavement trench repair as required. Grading & seeding is also included
