Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hempstead, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

CR Number: 2108821 Contract to be utilized via work orders issued for general repair items on Town maintained roadways at multiple locations throughout the Town. Total Funding amount to be $1,750,000. Multiple Contracts may be awarded. Special Bonding Requirements may apply. Apprenticeship Programs required for each trade with work value over $250,000. Standard work items to include: Concrete curbing, curbing with gutter, valley gutter, sidewalk at spot locations. Storm Water Drainage structure repairs. Limited Storm Water Drainage pipe replacement. Asphalt pavement ponding remediation. Associated restoration items. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than five percent (5%) of the estimated amount of the bid. The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Town further reserves the right to award this Contract to multiple bidders. Federal equal opportunity and labor standards are applicable for all work performed under this Contract. Minority owned, women owned and disabled veteran owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
