Site work for a water / sewer project in Twin Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Twin Falls as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Twin Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Twin Falls The Work will be substantially completed on or before 270 working days from the Notice to Proceed, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before 300 working days from the Notice to Proceed. In no case shall final completion continue past October of 2025
