Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Bid Price, or a Certified Cheque or Bank Draft in the amount of fifteen (15) percent of the Bid Price, payable to the Town of Salisbury. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of fifty (50) percent of the value of the Contract, or a fifteen (15) percent Certified Cheque upon award of contract. Contractors are advised that Work under this Contract includes the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Polishing Pond Improvements project located in the Town of Salisbury, New Brunswick. Work generally includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Installation of sediment control fencing and erosion control structures as indicated and as directed by the Engineer. 2. Widening and slope stabilization of the existing north perimeter polishing pond berm including grubbing, excavation, temporary water control works and dewatering and supply and installation of common fill, Borrow A, aggregate base, geotextile and R-5 riprap. 3. Realignment of a portion of the existing south perimeter berm including, grubbing, temporary water control works and dewatering, common excavation, berm construction using excavated materials, supply and installation of geotextile and R-50 and R-5 riprap materials and aggregate base. 4.
