The work consists of the following: Installation of a new optional standby generator at the Suffolk County Legislature Building (C0020) in Hauppauge, New York. The building is an active facility an will be occupied during construction. Awards will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder in conjunction with Section A4-14 of the Suffolk County Administrative Code establishing an optional ten percent (10%) local (Nassau/Suffolk) preference program for Suffolk County contracts. It is intended that the work under this Contract be completed substantiallywithin 365 calendar days after issuance of the formal Notice to Proceed or receipt of a fully executed agreement, whichever occurs first The Commissioner of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
