Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Monroe, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a cashiers check, certified check or Bid Bond of a sum no less than Five percent (5%) of the Bid total as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into a contract with the Owner and execute such bonds as may be required. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, and shall be countersigned by a person who is contracted with the surety company or bond issuer as agent of the company or issuer, and who is licensed as an insurance agent in this State, and who is residing in this State, in an amount equal to the 100% of the contract amount in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. In addition, the successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. A corporate resolution authorizing a representative of the corporation to sign the bid must accompany the bid, if the bidder is a corporation. Such activities will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statues. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of Act 111 of 1983. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
