Description of Scope of Services
Work on this scope of services for the Replacement of Rooftop Unit #2 will start when the Village
issues a Notice to Proceed (NTP). The proposed Scope of Services for this project is as follows:
This project is to replace a Trane Voyager Rooftop Unit serial number (434101036D), the
contractor must replace unit with Trane Voyager Rooftop Unit YSJ300A4SOL. Work includes the
following:
o Disconnect from utilities and existing duct work.
o Reclaim and Dispose of all refrigerants from unit.
o Remove and dispose of existing Trane Voyager unit.
o Furnish and install new Trane Voyager Model YSJ300A4SOL, will include new
economizer and aluminized steel heat exchanger.
o Provide Crane and rigging service.
o Connect gas line to new Trane Voyager.
o Provide new electrical disconnect and reconnect line voltage to new Trane
voyager.
o Reconnect to the existing horizontal ducting.
o Reconnect to the existing Trane BAS.
o Furnish and install new condensate line to closest roof drain.
Provide the Village with startup reports, training, and warranty information.
The warranty must include one year labor from the contractor and one-year parts
and coil warranty from Trane. The warranty must also include a 5-year compressor
warranty from Trane.
Permit fees will be waived by the Village.
