The City of Mesa is seeking a qualified consulting firm or team to provide complete design services. The City of Mesa seeks a qualified consulting firm, or team, with extensive experience and knowledge of MAG and City of Mesa standards and regulations, to provide complete design-phase services and possible construction-phase services for the Southeast Water Reclamation Plant (SWRP) Lift Station, Facility Closure, and Force Main Alignment Study & Design project. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to the following:
Project CP1229LS04 SE Lift Station:
o Determine the location of the lift station on the SEWRP site and the appropriate size and types of
pumps.
o Evaluate the piping needed for bypass and the need for odor control for the new lift station.
Project CP1229FM01 Southeast Lift Station Force Main:
o Determine alignment for the new force/gravity main. Three alternative alignments are required.
o Determine the size, slope, and material of the gravity sewer line if needed.
o Coordination of the hydraulics between the lift station and the force main scopes.
Project SEWRP Facility Closure:
o Update 2018 Mater Plan for SEWRP and GWRP.
o Identify what equipment will be removed from the facility.
o Perform a safety assessment for remaining structures and equipment to ensure safe

The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time The City of Mesa reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Statement of Qualifications received, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective Statements of Qualifications received. No binding contract will exist between the submitter and the City until the City executes a written contract.
