Lance Webb, City of Mesa, Applicant; City of Mesa, Owner. ----------------------------------------------------------- The City of Mesa is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide Pre-Construction Services and complete Construction Services as the CMAR for the Hibbert Garage Renovation project. The Hibbert Garage consists of an existing 3-story parking garage with ground-level parking and two parking decks above-grade, connected by a single interior ramp. Major renovation work is proposed to include the complete removal of the decorative metal screening on the south and east sides, cutting new openings into exterior wall for new entry doors, and the removal of two curved decorative metal canopies at the top of the garage on the southeast corner. Existing knockdown openings in the elevator hoist way walls and floors are proposed to be removed to allow installation of a new elevator. The City anticipates completing construction in late Spring 2025. Questions pertaining to the Construction Manager at Risk selection process or contract issues should be directed to Donna Horn of the Engineering Department at donna.horn@mesaaz.gov. The City of Mesa reserves the right to reject any or all SOQ's, to waive any informality or irregularity in any SOQ received, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective SOQ's received. No binding contract will exist between the submitter and the City until the City executes a written contract. The estimated construction cost is $7,000,000 to $9,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
