Job No: 38831, 37299, 37294, 37293, 37301, 37296 The project scope of work generally consists of the construction of (9) radio communication sites for Richland County, Wisconsin. These sites include (6) new towers, (7) new equipment shelters and generator backup systems, improvements to (2) existing shelters, and demolition of (1) tower and (1) shelter. New tower procurement and construction work is required as part of this project. Work at the sites generally includes providing and installing towers and tower foundations, prefabricated precast equipment shelters, backup generator systems, ice bridges, chain link fenced compounds, site grounding systems, access road installation and/or improvement, and other general site improvements. Antenna and Line work will be completed by others and is not part of the contract. See Summary Section 01 10 00 for detailed descriptions of the required work at each site. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate bid bond envelope containing a Bid Bond in a sum equal to five (5%) percent of the full amount of the bid, including all Base Bids (Alternate Bids need not be included in the Bid Bond amount). The Bid Bond shall be executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, will execute a contract in accordance with the term of the bid including furnishing all bonds and insurance certificates as required by the contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interest of Richland County.
