Removal and disposal vinyl sheet flooring, mastic, caulking, drywall joint compound and Transite asbestos containing materials. Removal and disposal of all other designated substances and hazardous materials as outlined in demolition designated substance survey report. Refer to the demolition designated substance report and abatement specifications within the RFP. The intent of this request for proposal (RFP) is to solicit and receive a formal offer for the abatement of hazardous materials from the Pic River Elementary School and the 3-bedroom Teacherage buildings located at 21 and 19 Rabbit Drive, Biigtigong Nishnaabeg, Ontario. The former Pic River Elementary School was constructed back in 1950 with additions completed in 1982. Pic River Elementary School-The interior building materials consist of various 12"x12" vinyl floor tiles and vinyl sheet flooring, drywall walls/ceilings, concrete block walls, 2'x4' lay-in ceiling tiles, and 12"x 12" acoustic ceiling tiles, with slab-on-grade foundation. Exterior building materials consist of wood siding and asphalt shingled roof. Teacherage- The interior building materials consist of drywall walls/ceilings, hard wood and vinyl sheet flooring, with a slab-on-grade foundation.
