Site work for a mixed-use development in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Resurfacing the Multi-Purpose Asphalt Court will add to the enjoyment of the St Joe's School Multi-sport area and provide summer recreational options such as accessible basketball and skateboard/scooter space and winter options that may include an outdoor rink. To this end, the City wishes to contract the resurfacing or replacement if easier, of the current Multi-Purpose Asphalt Court measuring approximately 330 meters squared. Installing accessible basketball standards, supplied by the City (usually a tube in the asphalt and the base inside the tube in concrete), on the ends of the court and removing the current stand is also part of the scope of this job. Finally, a pathway 2m wide from the road alongside the court would be attached running to the nearby road to provide accessibility to the court (proper 12 to 1 slope), 2 benches with pads 11ft x 8ft and a picnic table pad 17x15 ft (City to supply table and base to go in the asphalt and contractor to install).
