The work to be done for the base bid, in general, consists of demoing existing pavement, compaction of existing base material, asphalt concrete reconstruction, construction of new curb ramps, reconstruction of existing curb ramps to meet ADA standards, replacement of sidewalk, curb and gutter, striping, signage, markings, replacing existing storm drain inlets, and utility adjustments. Bid security shall be made in favor of the City of Kingsburg. The successful bidder shall furnish a faithful performance and labor and materials bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount.
