This project will install approximately 1316-feet of 8-inch diameter waterline on Barrows Street from Upton Avenue to Jackman Road to replace existing 6-inch diameter cast iron water main. This project will also improve 0.25 miles of roadway from Upton to Jackman through wearing course removal and resurfacing. Bid Bond 5.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 100.00% The City of Toledo reserves the right to reject any, or any part of any, or all bids, to waive technicalities, to advertise for new bids or to make the award if, in the judgment of the City, the best interest of the City will be promoted thereby. The Contractor shall take particular note of contract form provisions, dealing with Time of Performance and Liquidated Damages, which will be used in the determination of resulting damages in the event this contract obligation is not fulfilled by the specified completion date. The quantities specified are estimated and informative only and not a binding offer of purchase on the part of the City.
