The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is issuing solicitation 15B41824Q00000016 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Remove Asbestos at Federal Prison Camp HVAC, Plumb and Communication Shop at Federal Correctional Complex 4700 Bureau Road South Terre Haute, Indiana 47802. The project is for the removal, disposal and replacement of asbestos containing materials along approximately 831 linear feet of piping insulation, 20 square feet of duct wrap insulation, and 81 pipe fittings. All persons will be trained and knowledgeable and qualified in the techniques of abatement, handling and disposal of asbestos-containing materials and cleaning of contaminated sites. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, services, insurance, permits and equipment to carry out the work in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. **Additionally, a Site Visit is Scheduled for May 14, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. EST. It is highly encouraged to attend the site visit but not mandatory to provide quote on this solicitation. The performance period for the project will be 91 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.
