ROJECT TYPE: Tree removal stump grinding. The Village of Lakeview (OWNER) is seeking a qualified contractor to conduct tree removal and stump grinding operations within the Village of Lakeview. If you are interested, please see the attached documents that give the specifics for the project. The Village of Lakeview (OWNER) is seeking a qualified contractor to conduct tree removal, select pruning, and stump grinding operations within the Village of Lakeview. The list of the trees to be cut is attached. The trees will also be marked with an orange "X". Tree Removal: Remove approximately ten (10) medium-large trees. All wood three inch (3") in diameter or smaller will be chipped and removed from site. Remaining wood will be cut not longer than eight feet (8') in length to be stacked and left on site. Public Works will remove the wood. All reasonable care must be taken to avoid damage to public or private property. All limbs, brush, saw dust, bark, etc... will be cleaned up and removed from site by the contractor. Bid to reflect cost per crew hour including all labor and equipment to accomplish each tree removal listed individually based on the tree list attached. Stump/Root Removal: For every tree that is removed the stump and exposed roots also shall be removed by grinding. Stump/roots will be removed minimally eight inches (8") below the established surrounding grade. Debris may be left on site to be removed by Public Works. Public Works will also restore soil and seed these locations. Bid to reflect cost per crew hour including all labor and equipment to accomplish each stump removal for the ten (10) trees cut. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to change the tree quantity to be removed at any time.
