The Dennis-yarmouth Intermediate Middle School Athletic Fields Renovation Project Located in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts in Accordance With the Contract Documents. This Project Encompasses the Removal and Replacement of the Existing Synthetic Turf Fields With New Turf, Excavation and Replacement of the Base Materials Down to the Native Soil, and the Replacement Questions are to be directed to Mitch Miller at mattacheesems@pmaconsultants.com no later than Wednesday, March 5, 2025 @ 5PM. The Dennis-Yarmouth Intermediate Middle School fields currently feature two multipurpose synthetic turf playing fields, a walking track, and an adjacent long jump area. Originally installed in 2022, the fields are experiencing drainage issues caused by the existing 10-inch subbase material. To address this, the subbase material must be removed and replaced. This project encompasses the removal and replacement of the existing synthetic turf fields with new turf, excavation and replacement of the base materials down to the native soil, and the replacement of a new drainage systems, including fabric and flat panel drains, as detailed in the drawings. The adjacent long jump area will be removed to facilitate construction access. Additionally, the project includes proposed upgrades to field amenities and other site improvements like fencing, etc. as shown in the bid documentation.
