For installation of a parking lot for buses at the bus garage located at 2304 Belmont Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906 Bids must contain the name of every person interested therein and be accompanied by a bid and performance bond in the full amount of the bid tendered as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Board for the Project, or a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid tendered as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Board for the completion of the Project and furnish a performance bond for the amount of the contract at the time the bidder executes the contract. All such bonds, certified checks, cashier's checks, money orders, and letters of credit shall be payable to the Bellaire Local School District Board of Education. The Board intends to accept the lowest responsible bid for the purchase but reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts of any or all bids, and to waive irregularities which may occur in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the bids. The attention of bidders is directed to the statutory requirements of the State of Ohio relating to the licensing of corporations organized under the laws of any other state. The following will be the scope ofwork for the Project: Removal and shaping of existing gravel to create proper drainage. Provide any additional drainage requirements, if needed. Roll existing gravel and prepare for paving. 3" of hot mix asphalt base, rolled in place. 1.5" of hot mix asphalt top, rolled in place. Parking lot must be capable of handling the weight and traffic of school buses and motor vehicles while moving and parked in all types of weather. The Bidder has no outstanding questions regarding the interpretation or clarification of the contract documents.
