The Contractor shall provide the following Services: Perform contract monitoring activities, including quality assurance for the crown. Complete daily documentation of work completed and contract conformance. Act as the ministry on site representative. Perform contract enforcement activities, including documentation of issue communication with the bridge installation contractor that may have been conducted through both verbal and written communication. Assistance to the ministry representative in issuing of notices to comply or stop work orders etc. Verify contractor pile driving records and collection of independent pile driving records. Verify elevations of footings and cut offs for as built drawings. Act as a delegate or specialist for the Professional of Record (PoR) for bridge installation and approach works. Provide field survey verification within contract tolerances (contractor to utilize at minimum transit and survey levels). The contractor shall provide these services at various bridge installation projects for the Southern Engineering Group. The area that this service pertains to is the Southern Interior which includes the Kootenay/Boundary, Thompson-Okanagan & Cariboo Natural Resource Regions. Specific projects anticipated for the 2024 field season include one site on the Bush River FSR, N3-021 Blackwater Bridge Installation.
