Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Scope Of Work The following shall be applicable to the vacant apartments and associated items: A. The apartment building, in its entirety, shall be demolished, as marked on the site map. This includes all footings, slabs, parking lots, sidewalks, and steps and all other concrete directly associated with the building. B. All concrete foundations shall be removed from the property, as marked on the site map. C. The former swimming pool that has been previously backfilled shall be dug out and the existing swimming pool shall be removed. D. Install a 6' temporary fence around work site. E. Remove all trees that are in the way of demolition of the structure or marked by the City of Abilene to be removed. All healthy trees that are not in the way of demolition or are not marked for removal shall be protected. F. Remove concrete pads, planters, and retaining walls. G. Removal all bollards, parking railing, and light poles. H. All manifest and load receipts shall be collected. All concrete that is taken to be reclaimed or disposed of at a location other than the landfill shall have documents stating location, number of loads, and documentation stating acceptance of materials. I. The contractor shall supply the City of Abilene with Close Out documents with daily signin sheets, all load receipts/manifests, and daily logs. J. Remove road base or base fill beneath asphalt and parking lot and backfill with topsoil. K. After backfilling with topsoil is completed, all areas shall be disced and seeded with a 75% Rye/25% Bermuda mixture. The seed mixture shall be constantly spread throughout all disturbed areas. The contractor will be responsible for watering the area at least one time before leaving the project site. The City of Abilene must be notified to inspect the property before seeding commences. L. The concrete approach/entryway shall remain intact. The concrete shall be cut in such a way as to leave a clean edge. M. The fence and curb on the west side of the property shall not be damaged and all street curbs shall remain intact. The parking lot on the south side of the property shall be cleanly cut along the alley. N. The contractor shall have a licensed HVAC company discharge all HVAC units.
