The Department of Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Flooring Replacement and Moisture Seal Application Services, at South Sacramento Area Office. Bids must address all of the services described in exhibit A entitled "Scope Of Work" that is included in the Proposed Agreement forms/exhibit sections of this IFB. Contractor Shall: A. Retrieve and transport provided flooring materials, approximately seven (7) pallets 43 inches by 43 inches, from storage facility (3350 Avenue, West Sacramento, CA 95605) to the South Sacramento Area Office. B. Prepare worksite to prevent any damages to existing walls, ceiling, floor, other equipment, etc. Contractor at no expense to the CHP, shall repair all damages caused by the contractor, contractors subs and/or vendors. C. Remove all current carpet and vinyl tiles in main office and special duty trailer. D. Ensure that all carpet/vinyl materials are properly removed and disposed of. E. Sealing of concrete is required, as moisture test has been completed and results will be provided. F. Contractor shall sand/shot blast the concrete to a 3-4 CSP profile, including diamond grinding the edges and area the shot blaster cannot get to. G. Ensure all cracks and gaps are filled, sanded, and leveled for application of vinyl tile using a Portland based leveling compound. H. Provide adhesive needed for flooring (HM 99) and base. I. Replace flooring in the main office and special duty trailer.
