Broome DDSO Install Electrical Services for Digital Sign Digital Sign Electric Service. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to this scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Upon completion of Digital Sign Electric Service, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the Maintenance Supervisor. SCOPE OF WORK: 1.Provide Conduit, Meter Box, Panel Box with appropriate breaker size for 240v Single Phase, 100Amp service. To Existing NYSEG Pole. 2.Contractor will be responsible for 3rd party electrical inspection(s) & coordinating power connection with NYSEG. 3.Install a new 100Amp outdoor rated meter set, breaker panel box, 20A GFCI Convenience Receptacle with a lockable metal in-use cover. 4.Electrical Meter Box and Breaker Panel shall be mounted on 1-5/8" 304 Stainless Steel Unistrut Framework. Framework to be mounted on two (2), 8" round concrete posts, set 54" deep and 6" above final grade. Unistrut to be mounted to concrete post via 304 Stainless Steel Post Bases (Midwest P# P2072ASQ for reference). Mounted using 3/4 " Dia. X 7" Long 304 Stainless Steel Wedge Type anchors. All exposed/cut edges of Unistrut shall be made smooth. 5.All hardware used to create mounting framework and the mounting of boxes shall be 304 Stainless Steel. Signage work is covered in a separate Scope of Work. 6.Winning bidder will be responsible for coordination and final tie-in to the new digital electronic sign with the winning sign contractor. 30A/240V Single Phase. 7.Winning bidder will also be responsible to "disconnect & make safe" the existing power line that is connected at the end of the line Lamp Post, at the appropriate point in this project. 8.Contractor shall warrantee work for a period of one year from date of payment for job. Warrantee shall be for parts and labor. 9.Work shall conform to all applicable codes, be done according to manufacturer's instructions, and follow industry best practices. Note contractor is to provide and supply a 1-year warranty on material and labor. Method of Award: This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Broome DDSO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate 2 years of relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and its subject to vendor responsibility determination. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Broome DDSO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The Broome DDSO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note, all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitor log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the Maintenance Department. In the event of a tie, contract will be awarded to the Contractor whose bid was received earliest.
