PUBLIC NOTICE Village of Chittenango Asphalt Paving Bid Notice NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chittenango, County of Madison, in the State of New York solicits bids for asphalt paving including tack coat. Specifications may be obtained via email or mail by contacting the Village Clerk's Office at 222 Genesee St, Chittenango, New York or viewed online at: website public works Questions. Please contact Village Administrator, Paul Gregory at (315) 870-0971. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids received. Karen M. Hawkins Village Clerk-Treasurer, Village of Chittenango. Milling: The Village of Chittenango is responsible for all milling and cleanup. Village of Chittenango forces will provide all the Maintenance, sweeping/cleaning, tack coating and paving operations. However, the paving company will be responsible for the protection of traffic and flagging. 1. Oneida St. (From the Pottery Rd. to Lakeport Rd.) 153Tx2T Tack Coat: Prior to paving Oneida St., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango. Paving: Pave the milled area of Oneida St. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 21 ft. wide for 153T. Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor. 2. Mohawk St., (From Lakeport Rd. to 50' past the driveway to the American Legion) 950* x 2T Tack Coat: Prior to paving Mohawk St., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango. Paving: Pave the milled area of Mohawk St. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 21 ft. wide for 950'. Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor. 3. Legion Dr. (1 of 2) (From the canal to Mohawk Dr.) 910*x22' Tack Coat: Prior to paving Legion Dr., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango. Paving: Pave the milled area of Legion Dr. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 22 ft. wide for 910'. Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor. 4. Legion Dr. (2 of 2) (From Mohawk Dr. to Rte. 5) 600'x25' Tack Coat: Prior to paving Legion Dr., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango. Paving: Pave the milled area of Legion Dr. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 25 ft. wide for 600'. Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor. 5. Brinkerhoff St. (From Skelding St to Madison St) 151O'x21*Tack Coat: Prior to paving Brinkerhoff St., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango. Paving: Pave the milled area of Brinkerhoff St. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 21 ft. wide for 151 O'. Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor. 6. Skelding St. (From Falls Blvd to Brinkerhoff St.) 36O'x21' Tack Coat: Prior to paving Skelding St., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango. Paving: Pave the milled area of Skelding St. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 21 ft. wide for 360'. Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor. 7. Kenyon St. (From Falls Blvd to Madison St.) 670' x 21' Tack Coat: Prior to paving Kenyon St., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango Paving: Pave the milled area of Kenyon St. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 21 ft. wide for 670'. Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor. 8. Pottery Rd. (From Lakeport Rd. to Oneida St.) 1300'x20' Tack Coat: Prior to paving Pottery Rd., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango.Paving: Pave the milled area of Pottery Rd. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 20 ft. wide for 1300". Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor. 9. Water St. (From Lakeport Rd. to Pottery Rd.) 44O'x22' Tack Coat: Prior to paving Water St., the contractor will apply tack coat to the entire area to be paved. The application rate for tack coat shall be approximately .05 gallons per square yard. Note: Any final sweeping and/or cleaning, will be the responsibility of The Village of Chittenango. Paving: Pave the milled area of Water St. using 1.5" average compacted thickness of Type 7 Top, at a width of approximately 22 ft. wide for 440'. Note: Prior to placing the surface course, it may be necessary to true and level the roadway in areas determined by the Highway Superintendent and the Contractor.
