For the following: ASPHALT WEARING COURSE BID Item 1:317 TON ASPHALT WEARING COURSE, 9.5 MM, IN PLACE All items "Delivered as Directed". All materials must meet PennDot specifications. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $885.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Township and can be obtained at the Township office during public hours, or by calling 724-637-0035. All proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Clay Township. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Clay Township reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the Municipality.
