A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: PURPOSE: The Town of Collierville requests Letters of Interest from professional consultant engineering firms to provide services related to construction of Shelby Drive from Sycamore Road to U.S. Highway 72 (S.R. 86) in Collierville. This project is funded through the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) and all work performed is to be in accordance with the most current version of TDOT's Local Government Guidelines for the Management of Federal and State Funded Transportation Projects. This project consists of the widening of the existing 2-lane rural cross section roadway to a 4-lane urban cross section including a median and bike and pedestrian facilities, approximately 4,400 linear feet in length (TDOT PIN 125568.00). The professional consultant engineering firm must be on TDOT's pre-approved list or have a completed pre-qualification form filed with TDOT by the deadline for the Letters of Interest (LOI). The prequalified firm must have unlimited status. Responsibilities of the professional consultant firm include, but are not limited to providing Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services forthe construction phase ofthe projectin accordance with all Town of Collierville, TDOT and FHWA requirements. Services will include project administration, construction inspections, EPSC inspections, utility coordination, QA inspections & testing, shop drawing & submittal reviews, records maintenance, project closeout and all other CEI-related services required for the project.
