Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Proposals must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the same and all persons interested therein. It is the intent and requirements of the owner that this project be completed no later than OCTOBER 31, 2024. The successful bidder will be required to have a current occupational license in the City of Fort Thomas before the Contract will be awarded. The City Council of the City of Fort Thomas, reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. The City Council of the City of Fort Thomas shall authorize acceptance of the bid made by the responsible bidder who, in Council's judgment, offers the best and most responsive proposal to the City, considering quality, service, performance record, and price; or Council may direct the rejection of all bids. The City may award based on "functional equivalence" concerning specified work or products. DATE FOR COMPLETION The Bidder shall state in his Proposal, in the space provided, the number of calendar days which he will require, after signing the Contract to complete all items of the construction as specified herein. In no instance shall the amount of time be longer than the maximum set by the Owner herein. The agreed time of completion shall be written into the Contract when it is executed. It is the intent and requirements of the owner that the proposed Work shall be installed and operational no later than THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2024. Description Furnish all material, equipment, labor, and incidentals for mixing aramid fiber into HMA per this specification. Aramid fibers must be treated to prevent them from becoming airborne during the mixing process, and the treatment must become soluble in the asphalt. Treated aramid fiber shall be continuously fed and mixed into HMA per dosage and mixing requirements of this specification. A certified QA/QC mixing technician shall perform continuous feeding of the treated aramid fibers into the asphalt during plant mixing operations for all of the Fiber Reinforced HMA quantities requires for the project and a P.E.-stamped certification report must be submitted upon project completion.
