The City of Ames is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide design services for a standby generator associated with the 5 (five) wells located at the Hunziker Youth Sports Complex (HYSC). This project will consist of design, bidding, and construction services to develop plans and specifications that incorporates and prioritizes the City's plan to have dedicated standby power so that water may be pumped to the treatment plant during power outages or natural disasters. All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed. No proposer may withdraw their proposal for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
