Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,572-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Work includes the construction of 1,572 sf park pavilion building. The building area will consist of 745 sf of interior space and 827 sf of covered pavilion space. The building will be a single-story structure. The addition will be slab on grade and the program will include a men's restroom, a women's restroom, a mechanical room & a concessions space. The building will be exterior split face CMU masonry bearing walls with composite lap siding cladding on gable ends. Roof structure will be gabled wood truss construction with plywood sheathing and asphalt shingle cladding. The project also includes two sealed glue laminated beams and two glue laminated columns. All doors are exterior doors and will be hollow metal. All windows are fixed aluminum windows. A manual operation overhead coiling door serves the concession space The building will be unconditioned space with a mechanical system designed to prevent the freezing of the plumbing system. Plumbing systems will tie into existing utilities and include wall mount toilets with flushometers, wall mounted sinks in the restrooms and an undermount kitchen sink in the concessions space. Electrical systems will the into existing utilities and include all LED fixtures. The building does not require any fire suppression systems, and wall mounted fire extinguishers will be provided. Site work is limited and includes minor concrete sidewalk work and connecting utility lines to the existing municipal utilities.
