24-0055 Audio System for the Orpheum Theater Questions Due Date: Never Project Description: The purpose of this request is to provide the City of Sioux Falls with a contract for the purchase of a new and unused Audio System for the Orpheum Theater. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the City of Sioux Falls (hereinafter referred to as the "City"). The purpose of this RFP is to establish a contract from qualified Firms to replace the existing audio system and expand audio systems within the rest of the building. Budget The total project budget for completion of this project is $300,000--including but not limited to design, equipment and supplies, installation, drawings, tuning, training, travel, freight, any applicable sales and use taxes. Requirements/Scope of Work / Goals - The goal of this project is to provide a line array system that covers every seat in the theater with clear, undistorted sound capable of reaching 110 dB. This includes but is not limited to any front fills, under balcony fills, and subwoofers, flown and ground supported. Also provide an expanded audio system for the rest of the building. The awarded contractor is required to design, run and provide all cabling, deploy all speakers, tune the system, and educate staff members on any and all control systems. Attn- Scott Rust, Procurement Officer, Finance Department Phone: 605-367-8836 Email: scott.rust@siouxfalls.gov Contract Intent to Award: June 17- 21, 2024 Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing to Scott Rust, Procurement Officer, at scott.rust@siouxfalls.gov.
