Reference number: 1836335 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2024-04-29 The work covered by this contract is located in the borough of Cité-Limoilou, and includes, but is not limited to: To address structural problems in the clinker pit area of the Complexe de Valorisation Énergétique de Quebec (CVE), located at 1210 Montmorency Boulevard in Québec. The CVE, which plays a key role in the treatment of the region's waste, has critical basins dedicated to the treatment of its effluent water. The project is motivated by significant structural problems with the existing wall between two wastewater treatment ponds. Currently, the deterioration of a party wall between existing Basins 2 and 3 highlights the need for immediate intervention to ensure the integrity of the treatment system. As Basin 2 is out of service, the construction of a new wall in it will divert water from Basin 3 to Basin 2. This redirection will facilitate the completion of a separate mandate to demolish the old wall and rehabilitate the process once the new wall is built. The work consists of the construction of a new structural wall inside Basin 2, ensuring the watertightness of the separation between Basins 2 and 3. The Contractor will face the challenge of working in an enclosed, potentially damp, restricted environment (a small hatch of 0.9 m x 0.9 m), and will be required to implement additional precautions to ensure the safety of workers and the quality of the execution of the project. The execution of the project is subject to strict time constraints, including specific working hours outside of the CVE's regular operating hours. *Award is subject to final approval.
