The City of Verona would like to solicit proposals to convert (2) existing tennis courts at Veterans Park (113 Lincoln St. Verona, WI 53593) into (6) pickleball courts that meet all relevant industry standards. The current tennis courts were most recently resurfaced in 2021. Due to the demand for additional pickleball facilities, the City is seeking a qualified contractor to complete the conversion. The base bid includes, but is not limited to: removal of existing tennis court net posts, installation of (6) pickleball net systems, thorough cleaning of the hard court surface, application of new color coating surface, painting lines in accordance pickleball standards. Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting any quotes. The contractor shall verify all dimensions on site. The attached facility aerial photos are provided for reference purposes to identify the specific job areas and is provided for reference purposes only. The contractor is responsible to examine the areas for compliance with requirements for installation and other conditions affecting performance of products per the manufacturer's requirements and specifications. Any conditions that must be altered to properly install proposed system(s) must be addressed with submission of bid in writing. Completion & Liquidated Damages Contractor must be substantially completed by 12:00pm, August 30, 2024. Failure to complete will result in a $100 per day past that date liquidated damages penalty. Substantial Completion October 31, 2024.
