Saw Mill Run Flood Protection Project Rehabilitation Saw Mill Run, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement to complete rehabilitation of two (2) areas within the Saw Mill Run Local Flood Protection Project in the West End Neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. These rehabilitation areas were damaged by past storm events and will be completed under the Public Law 84-99 program in cooperation with the City of Pittsburgh. This Rehabilitation Project covers damages that occurred because of a 2018 storm event. There are two (2) distinct work areas within the scope of this project and are noted as Downstream and Upstream Work Areas. These work areas are described below. Downstream Area: This work area is approximately 780 feet in length and spans the length of channel between the area near Violet Way and Neptune Street. The work area also includes the area near the South Main Street Bridge just above the channel access ramp location near the Artifacts Antique Store. Features of work for this work area will be rehabilitation of fabric-formed concrete revetment mat damages. Upstream Area: This work area is approximately 460 feet in length and spans the length of channel at the upper portion of the project limits near the channel access ramp at the intersection of Wabash Street and Greentree Road. Features of work for this work area will be rehabilitation of fabric-formed concrete revetment mat damages (approximately 280 feet total length), access ramp damages, repairs to undercutting of an existing concrete revetment slab (approximately 20 ft long), and repairs to a scour hole near the drop structure. Current proposed site access will be obtained via existing access ramps into the channel near Wabash Street and the Pittsburgh Police Department parking lot. The work shall be completed within 365 Calendar Days after written Notice to Proceed. Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction (FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204) Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 The acquisition will be procured as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. All responsible Bidders are encouraged to participate. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about , online through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the solicitation will not be honored. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is NAICS 237990 - Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS Code is $45,000,000.00.
