Site work for a mixed-use development in Sandusky, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a medical facility; and religious / funeral development.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NCA) intends to issue a Sole Source solicitation entitled, 076-MM24-0A2: Ornamental Wrought Iron Fence Repair, OWRNC, Confederate Stockade , to be issued on or about April 19, 2024, unless additional notice is given, or the notice is modified or canceled. The Contractor shall provide all Management and Supervision, Labor, Materials, Parts, and equipment, etc., necessary to Repair the Ornamental Wrought Iron Fence, to include but shall not be restricted to the: Removal of 855 lineal feet (LF) of fence, Transporting the removed 855 LF of fence to the recommended Contractor s facility, Sandblasting the removed 855 LF of fence, Repairing/fixing missing and damaged pieces of the 855 LF of fence, Recoating the 855 LF of fence, Adding a 1-1/2 x A 1/2 x 1/8 (think flat bar) Channel over the top of the exiting pickets (to reduce or stop the impaling of deer), and Returning and Reinstallation of the 855 LF of fence around the cemetery (to its originally removed location). the work shall include, but will not be limited to, General Conditions, General Construction, Alterations, as needed for the necessary removal of the existing 855 LF of fence structure and certain other items in accordance with the specification s requirements. Contractor will have sixty-one (61) calendar days to complete the work from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed letter. The Product Service Code (PSC) for the procurement is Z2QA Repair or Alteration of Restoration of Real Property (Public or Private). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the procurement is 238190 Other Foundation, Structure and Building Exterior Contractors. The magnitude of construction for the project is between $250,000 and $500,000.00. The awarded Contractor will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds. The acquisition type for this solicitation will be an Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP will utilize the Electronic Delivery process. There will be no bids mailed, email, USP, FedEx, or otherwise stated, with the exception that the offer MUST BE SUBMITTED electronically via email to the attention of the respective Contracting Officer at his respective Government's email address. Availability of solicitations, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and the NCA will provide no hard copies. The solicitation, consisting of various documents and specifications will only be available for download at no charge at the Contracting Opportunity website (https://sam.gov/content/opportunities). No other site shall be used to obtain these documents. Interested Offerors are encouraged to submit a Capabilities package in response to the Sources Sought announcement no later than April 19, 2024, by 3:00 p.m., CST to the Contracting Officer: Claude Humphrey (claude.humphrey@va.gov) - referencing the Project Number, the Solicitation Number, and the Description of the Project in the Header or Opening Statement. Capabilities packages should include the following and be no more than five (5) pages in length: A. Business name, address, and small business type A. A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid in response to a possible solicitation for this requirement. A. A brief explanation of past performance or current contracts which clearly articulates the ability to perform the services described above. QUESTIONS: Any interested Offeror desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation specifications must request it in writing. NOTE: All questions, requests for clarification and/or information regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing and must reference the Project Number, the Solicitation, and the Description of the Project in the Header or Opening Statement (email is acceptable) to the Contracting Officer: Claude Humphrey (claude.humphrey@va.gov).
