Tree & Vegetation Removal Services. June 2024 - May 2025 Any respondent who files a formal written protest shall post with the District at the time of filing the formal written protest, a bond in the amount of 1% of the contract amount or $25,000 whichever is less. This invitation is extended to all qualified contractors who can provide the requirements specified in the RFQ. The District shall define the location and scope on an individual project basis. The District shall solicit proposals from the qualified firms and issue a specific Purchase Order for the project. The District makes no representation or guarantee of work as a result of this Solicitation and reserves the right to award all, some or none of the work to one or more firms. The District reserves the right to terminate, expand or modify a project scope as deemed necessary. Question Deadline 04/25/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions and inquiries must be submitted, in writing, to Michelle Sinclair, Procurement Coordinator at msinclair@lwdd.net The District is requesting qualifications and experience information from contracting firms in order to prequalify firms for removing exotic and hazardous trees and vegetation from the District's property. Once qualified, contracting firms will be provided the opportunity to submit technical and cost proposals in the second step of this two-step Solicitation process. The District reserves the right to reject any and all responses for reasons including, but not limited to, the following: (1) when such rejection is in the interests of the District; (2) if such response is deemed non-responsive; (3) if the respondent is deemed non-responsible; or (4) if the response contains any material irregularities. Minor irregularities contained in the response will be waived by the District.
