Description: The City of Hampton is seeking proposals from qualififed offerors to provide on-call as needed professional traffice engineering and related services. Hampton is an independent city located in Virginia. It is on the southern end of the Virginia Peninsula, bordering the Chesapeake Bay. The City has a total area of 136.2 square miles; 51.8 miles of that is land and 84.4 miles is water, with a total population of more than 137,000. Questions. Offerors must submit questions regarding the RFP in writing to the Issuing Office via email to tmartin@hampton.gov no later than 3:00 PM EST on April 16, 2024. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. A DBE must perform or exercise responsibility for at least 30% of the total cost of its contract with its own force. Term and Renewals. This Contract shall continue in force for the term of one (1) year. This Contract may be extended upon the mutual agreement of both parties for up to four (4) optional, one (1) year periods upon the same prices, terms, and conditions as set forth in this Contract and the RFP. The City reserves the right to make awards under this RFP to more than one Offeror if the City determines that doing so is in the best interests of the City.
