Maintenance and Repair of Roadside Safety Features and Sign Structures on The New Jersey Turnpike. Proposals are invited for Contract No. T200.824, which involves furnishing the required labor, equipment, and materials, on an as needed basis, necessary to maintain and repair steel beam guiderail and signage from Mile 0 to Mile 122 in Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Salem, and Union Counties, New Jersey and shall include the Pearl Harbor Memorial and Newark Bay-Hudson County Extensions. The work will be as directed by the Director of Operations or his designee for a period of one and one half (1 and 1/2) years from the date of Notice of Award and shall terminate on the date one and one half years after the date of the Notice of Award. Contractor shall be capable of mobilizing a minimum of two (2) independent work crews at one time, complete with sufficient traffic control devices and full lane closing capabilities. Bidders must be prequalified under Contract Classification Contract Classifications 13, Guide Rail, Rating Unlimited prior to the receipt of Proposals. For Proposals submitted by joint ventures, each member of the joint venture must be prequalified in the Contract Classification, and the sum of the ratings held by each member must be within 10 percent of the total price bid by the joint venture. In cases where the sum of the ratings exceeds $10 million, the joint venture's rating will be Unlimited. Withdrawing Proposal Delete the second paragraph and replace it with the following: Any Bidder attempting to withdraw a Proposal after the opening of bids for any reason, including an alleged unilateral mistake by the Bidder, may be subject to disqualification from submitting bids on Projects for a period not to exceed twelve (12) months, and on such terms as the Authority may determine.
