The Village of Palmetto Bay is currently soliciting for paving and drainage improvements to include roadway, and swale restoration for five (5) locations. The improvements will include drainage improvements, roadway, and swale restoration. To be considered, all interested Parties must request copies of the bid documents and submit one (1) original, one (1) copy of the required information and documents, and a CD or flash drive containing a copy of the entire original submission in one (1) sealed package clearly marked with the bid titled "Paving and Drainage Improvements Project (Localized Drainage Projects) ITB# 2024-11-014". THE PACKAGE MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE VILLAGE CLERK, INCLUDING THE PACKAGE TITLE. A bid guaranty in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Invitation to Bid (ITB). The respondent shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the response to the bid. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bid without the consent of the Village for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening and reading bids. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to terminate the process at any time, rebid the Project, waive any informalities, technicalities or irregularities, to disregard all non-conforming, conditional or counter-bids, to award in whole or in part to one or more respondents, or take any other such actions that may be deemed in the best interest of the Village. Inquiries regarding the ITB, including requests for clarification of the ITB, must be in writing. With respect to questions about the meaning or intent of the Project Specifications or Drawings, all questions shall be submitted in writing to the Village within seventy-two (72) hours after the receipt of the Project Specifications or Drawings. SW 165th Terrace (East of SW 84th Avenue) The Project shall include but not be limited to drainage improvements, roadway trench restoration, swale restoration, roadway resurfacing and site restoration throughout the Project area. All labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct the improvements described by these Drawings and Project Specifications will be provided by the contractor. Construction of this Project will require close coordination with the Village's Engineer and Public Services Director. It is proposed that the Project shall be constructed for the Total GMP based on the Contract Unit Prices in this Bid, all in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the Contract Documents. The Village at its sole discretion shall award this Contract based on the GMP.
