Dam Safety Reviews were undertaken for Yukon Energy's (YEC) three hydroelectric generating stations in 2020. These were conducted in general accordance with the requirements of the Canadian Dam Association (CDA). The reviews highlighted some analysis and inspections that should be conducted. The next cycle of dam safety reviews will be taking place in 2025. Ahead of these comprehensive reviews YEC would like to conduct the high priority studies that were previously highlighted. We are seeking consulting services to conduct a series of three priority studies on the Aishihik and Whitehorse Facilities. Aishihik Generating Station Seismic and Stability Analysis The scope of the work is a study that will examine the stability of the AGS structures and re-evaluate the seismic hazard rating and seismic stability. The scope includes the following: Assess the seismic hazard at the site. Evaluate the stability, including the seismic stability of the Aishihik Lake CS, the Canyon Lake CS, the Power Canal, and bedrock of the tailrace portal. All studies should be completed by March 2025.
