LOCATION OF WORK: Juror Parking Deck, operated by The Essex County Improvements Authority, located at the Essex County Hall of records, City of Newark, New Jersey. The parking garage is located in the parking lot of the Essex County Hall of Records next to Leroy Smith Public Safety Building. Work under this project will consist, but not limit to, the following The Contractor is expected to provide comprehensive turnkey design and construction duties for this project resulting in a finished, fully usable facility that satisfies all project requirements and contract terms. The Contractor, as the sole responsible source for total project compliance and construction related performance, including design, engineering, development of specifications, inspections and construction services, will be fully accountable for the successful outcome of the project. The Contractor must retain a licensed engineer, registered in the state of New Jersey, who will oversee and assume full accountability for the completed scope of work. The work area shall be limited to occupying a maximum of 200 parking spaces. This shall include the spaces to be barricaded below the work area where there may be debris that could impact any obstruction below the actual work area. The contractor shall provide adequate barricades to prohibit unauthorized access to the work area, or areas below the sections being worked on.
